Galicia at Ekoparty

In 2022 Banco Galicia set out to improve the Argentine computing community's opinion of the bank at Ekoparty, the annual information security conference in the City of Buenos Aires that brings together professionals and enthusiasts.

The challenge was abundance: very large physical spaces to fill in productions of under 24 hours and on limited budgets.

Mashin managed Banco Galicia's project at Ekoparty across four editions, from October 2022 to October 2025, and developed the creative work with Rodolfo Pagliere, who also built the stand and the experience. Erks made the interactive games.

The proposal aimed for high aesthetic value, with innovative design studios, and was designed to be set up in under 24 hours. Each edition had a different central idea: metaverses, gaming, artificial intelligence and street art, with activities that added participation and prizes.

In 2023, under the theme of activating the metaverse, the stand added a cocktail bar. In 2024, a VJ performed live over the game experience. In 2025 a street art experience tied to basketball was created, where visitors could play. The deliverables were the stand and audiovisual and graphic material at the end of the event.

Mashin ruled out working with traditional stand suppliers for Banco Galicia at Ekoparty, because it judged that the best way to make an impact on that audience was through disruptive experiences.

Banco Galicia won the award for best stand of the Ekoparty convention in 2024, in a project that Mashin managed together with its partners.
